Terms of Use

In force as of 27.08.2026.

Preliminary draft. This text is a preliminary draft and needs a final review by a lawyer. Until approved it is not a final legal document. The Estonian version of this document is the original; translations are for convenience.

1. General provisions

These terms apply to the use of the website and work request platform of Ehitusabi 24 OÜ (hereinafter Ehitusabi24).

The terms are in force as of 27.08.2026 and apply together with the privacy policy and the published price list.

2. Nature of the service

Ehitusabi24 is a platform for construction work requests. The client submits a work request free of charge, suitable service providers see it based on the service areas and categories they have selected, and decide themselves whether to submit an offer. The client compares the offers and selects the provider themselves. Registry and competence information is displayed or verified to the extent the category and service allow; it is not a general confirmation of a provider's quality.

Ehitusabi24 is not a public price auction or a public job exchange.

3. Submitting a work request

The work description and contact details submitted by the client must be accurate and sufficient for assessing the work and finding suitable service providers.

Submitting a work request does not oblige the client to accept any offer. The client is responsible for reviewing the terms of the agreement made with the provider they select.

4. Fees and billing

For the client, submitting a work request and comparing offers is free of charge, unless clearly stated otherwise before ordering a specific optional additional service.

The service provider pays Ehitusabi24 for platform services: the monthly plan, credits and separately ordered additional services according to the price list and terms published at the time of ordering.

Ehitusabi24 does not take a percentage or markup from the price of the work agreed between the client and the service provider.

Invoices for the work performed, materials, transport and other work-related costs are issued by the service provider directly to the client. These payments do not flow through Ehitusabi24 unless the terms of a separate additional service clearly provide otherwise.

Platform services can be paid for via a bank link, card payment, payment link or another payment solution offered by Ehitusabi24. Payment data is processed by the respective payment service provider; Ehitusabi24 does not store full card data.

5. Obligations of the service provider

The service provider is responsible for the accuracy of its company, competence, contact and billing data and undertakes to describe the scope of work, the price and the material conditions clearly in the offer.

The service provider is responsible for holding the registrations, professional qualifications, permits and insurance required to perform the work, where these are required for the work in question.

6. Liability of the parties

The works or service contract is concluded between the client and the selected service provider. Ehitusabi24 is not a party to that contract unless separately agreed in writing.

The client and the service provider are responsible, under the contract between them, for proper performance of the work, deadlines, materials, any warranty given by the provider and payment for the work. Ehitusabi24 does not organise or manage work on site, does not hold the money paid for the work and does not invoice for construction work.

Ehitusabi24 may enable documented communication, receipt of complaints and moderation within the platform, but does not give binding legal assessments of fault or liability.

7. Ordering, conclusion of contract and payment

Before confirming an order with a payment obligation, the service provider is shown the selected plan or credit amount, the price, VAT, the final sum, billing details and a reference to these terms. The contract is deemed concluded when the provider confirms the terms and the payment succeeds.

The payment is processed on the secure page of the payment service provider. After payment the order status is displayed and a confirmation is sent to the billing email address. Returning from the payment page alone does not prove payment; the order is activated based on the confirmed notification of the payment service provider.

If the payment fails or is cancelled, no plan or credits are activated and payment can be started again. In the event of a double charge or another erroneous payment, please write immediately to info@ehitusabi24.ee.

8. Monthly plan, credits and termination

The billing period and price of the monthly plan are shown before ordering. Unless an automatic recurring payment option is expressly indicated in the purchase view and separately confirmed, each period's payment is a one-off and a new payment is requested before the next period begins.

The monthly plan can be terminated in the portal. Termination takes effect at the end of the current paid period and the fee for a period already started is generally not partially refunded, except where required by law or where the service was unavailable due to Ehitusabi24.

A credit is spent when an offer is submitted. Unused credits are valid while the monthly plan is active. A used credit is not refunded, except where submitting the offer demonstrably failed due to a technical error of Ehitusabi24.

9. Right of withdrawal and refunds

A service provider who is a consumer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days by sending an unambiguous statement to info@ehitusabi24.ee. The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to a service provider acting as an undertaking or in a professional capacity.

If the user wishes provision of the digital service or use of credits to begin before the end of the 14-day period, we request their express consent before the purchase. The user acknowledges that for a fully provided digital service or digital content taken into use, the right of withdrawal may lapse to the extent provided by law.

Upon withdrawal, the value of the service already used or provided by the time of the withdrawal statement may be payable within the limits of applicable law. The unused part is refunded to the same payment method generally within 14 days of receiving a justified withdrawal or refund request.

If a payment has been taken in error or the service cannot be provided due to Ehitusabi24, the justified amount is refunded to the same payment method at the first opportunity, but generally no later than within 14 days.

Cancellation of the construction work contract concluded between the client and the service provider and the refund of amounts paid for the work are governed by the contract between them; Ehitusabi24 is not the recipient of those payments.

10. Optional additional services

Ehitusabi24 may offer or intermediate separately selectable additional services, for example insurance or protection solutions, warranty and protection services, site management, documentation, inspection or other project-related services.

Additional services are not automatically included in the work request intermediation service. The price, provider, scope, liability and conditions of each additional service are published separately before it is ordered.

11. Account and misuse

The user is responsible for the secure use of their account and authentication means. The account may not be used for misleading work requests, spam, fraud, unlawful activity or harming the rights of other users.

In the event of justified misuse or a security risk, Ehitusabi24 may restrict access, suspend the account or remove unlawful content.

12. Complaints and disputes

Please send complaints concerning the platform service to info@ehitusabi24.ee. Describe the problem, the related order or payment and the desired solution; we will respond within a reasonable time.

The law of the Republic of Estonia applies. Disputes are first sought to be resolved through negotiation. In cases provided by law, a consumer has the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee operating at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority or to a competent court.

13. Amendment of the terms

Ehitusabi24 may amend the terms where this is necessary due to changes in the service, legislation or business model. The new version is published on this page and users are notified of material changes in a reasonable manner where relevant.
